Access dashboard of blog I just got ownership of

How do I get into the dashboard of a blog that I’ve just taken ownership of? It does not show up under “My Blogs.” And I need to keep this URL.
Can’t find answer in instructions, and really time-sensitive. Thank you!
Here is what I mean:
— Jane wants to transfer ownership of her blog to Frank (and keep the same URL).
—Frank registers for his own WordPress account under his own email address.
–Jane transfers ownership to Frank’s email address, and clicks yes when she receives her verification email.
–Frank goes in to his WP account. But how does he GET INTO the site he’s just been given ownership to? It does not show up in his “My Blogs” area. If he goes to Jane’s former blog, he can see it (like anyone can) but cannot access the dashboard.
This has to be simple and not uncommon, but it’s not included in the instructions for how to transfer a blog. Help!
