I can log into my account, but the website I want to edit is not showing up in ‘my sites’. I’m the only admin on the site in question. I do not have any proof of ownership required, except the email address.

Hi there, the site http://madisonrainmakerstest.wordpress.com/ is owned by the bigtimecreative username, so you would have log in under that account in order to access the site.

Thanks! I tried to log in under that username, but the password I had saved didn’t work.
I’m able to log into my WP account with my email, (email visible only to moderators and staff), but no luck with bigtimecreative.
I tried to have a password reset sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff), but no luck. BTW, that’s the only email that I use for WP.
Any help in resetting my password for bigtimecreative for madisonrainmakerstest.wordpress.com would be greatly appreciated!

Update: madisonrainmakerstest.wordpress.com is appearing on my profile as a managed site, but will not allow me admin priv. so I’m unable to edit.

I do see the password resets for
bigtimecreativehave been sent to the owner’s email address. Check any email you think may be associated with that username.To add, remove, or change a user role you will need access to the email address on the account or one of our other account proof of ownership methods.

Thanks for the response. When I submit a reset, I’m not receiving any reset mail. I know it’s the correct email. Could it be because I changed mail servers? I have no proof of ownership that you require, other than my email and username.
What confuses me is that the url shows in my managed accounts on my profile page, but I can’t access it.
Any direction/help would be appreciated.

The password reset emails are being sent correctly to the address on the account. Could you post the email address you are using to the forums and including the
@and no spaces. Doing so, our forums will hide the email from public view.Once we know the email address you are checking we can take a deeper look. In the meantime check any email address you may have used.

The two emails that I use are (email visible only to moderators and staff), and (email visible only to moderators and staff) I’m not seeing password reset links on either mail address.
The url that I’m trying to access, madisonrainmakerstest.wordpress.com shows up in my WP profile links as being one that’s managed by me, but I can’t access it.
I hope this clarifies things and thanks for the help!

Neither of those are the email addresses on file for this account. Do you own any other emails, perhaps one you no longer use but is still active, that you used for that account?

Thanks for the response. Unless I’m having a Senior Moment, those are the only two email addresses that I’ve ever used for years.
Other than the fact that the url I’m trying to get access to, madisonrainmakerstest.wordpress.com is showing up on sites managed by me on my wordpress profile, I can’t satisfy the wordpress proof of ownernship protocol.
Is there any way I can turn it off so search engines don’t list it? It’s showing up in searches for madisonrainmakers.com and is severely outdated and messing with the SEO.
