access my blog
-
My blog is https://supervisorsfriend.wordpress.com/ but when I sign into word press a different blog comes up – gamingtutorialsite. I did not change my blog but this change has meant that I am unable to access the statistics for my site the supervisors friend.
The information on the research supervisors friend clearly indicates that the author of the blog is Dr Geof Hill – which is me at (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I have tried following your reclaiming procedures but to no avail.
I have had this site for a long time – since January 2011 and I am frustrated that I can no longer access it to make new posts.
Thank you

You already got anwered 4 months ago by a Staff mmeber, but it seems you never followed up, https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/access-96/.

It’s very simple: you must log out from current gamingtutorialsite and log in again as supervisorsfriend.

It would be great if the solution to this problem were as simple as your email suggests.
I signed into my blog by signing into wordpress. This took me to the blog called ‘gaming tutorials’. As per your instructions, I signed out of this blog and this created a new invitation to log into. I entered my usual login details – my email address and password- which took me back to gaming tutorials site.
I also tried to sign in as supervisorsfriend and as supervisorsfriend.wordpress.com both without success.
My belief is that some technical upgrade has inadvertently migrated my blog – which is clearly evident as my blog because of the content and the information about the author- and replaced it with this other blog.I can access my supervisors friend site by using the (research) supervisor’s friend | Just another WordPress.com site but when I try to log in on this site I get a message that suggests ‘do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “the (research) supervisor’s friend”.
I would like you to look into this problem as it is now almost 6 months since I have not been provided access to my own site.
Thank you
Dr Geof Hill
