The comments are set to moderate on http://nomocracy.wordpress.com/ so check your email accounts for the comment I left – that might be the correct email to use for lost log-in – but the staff will not give you info on the email – they might tell you the account holder – I will flag this for their attention

Hi
I have just joined a company and they have lost i) email address ii) login name iii) password iv) the developer who made their site! (well, he says he can’t remember, his company has gone bust & now hes not picking up his phone)
As such they can’t access their WP. All they have as proof of their account is i) company email addresses ii) name of people the site might have been registered under + emails iii) MediaTemple info confirming the company address/emails iv) info from company that registered their domain with.
Is there a way we can get the p/w reset so we can access the site? The website is http://canadian.edu.sg
(Sorry, but I had to create a new account to join the forum)

@daniel135 – I hate those rotating headers on your site
The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.

@daniel135: to clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

Sorry but I hate the flipping and rotating headers – they bother my poor vision – I think they are a crime – but my observation was just in passing – many times I have passed on info about blogs (slow loading in another common observation with a link to the Read More Tag) – note that I still gave them good advice on what they needed to do to get help – nor did I call them any bad names
-
That’s right, you still gave them good advice (thank you for helping out!) and your comment was about the site appearance, not the OP (who actually can’t access the site to edit it). At the same time, they might be more receptive to your feedback, and the general tone on the forums would be more positive, if you phrased it in a more constructive way (e.g. “the flipping/rotating headers are distracting, especially for users with poor vision”). This general approach helps users to view forums as a friendly, helpful place.
