Access to a Company Blog to uptdate

I work for Sixteen on Center, a design/build firm located in Tiverton. Last year we had a group of students from a local college come in and set up a wordpress.com blog for us – sixteenoc.wordpress.com – I have been asked to update the blog. It turns out, however, that we have lost the account information necessary to log onto the account. Is it possible to either A – retrieve the information needed to access the account, or B – delete the blog so that I can then create a new one with the same address.

Hello there,
Blogs are owned by person with the username accounts that register them and that username account is the original Admin of the blog. You can contact the blog owner and if they choose to, then they can use this process to add your username account as an Admin and transfer the blog to it.
