Access to domain registration on other account

    I’m working for a client who has a domain registered with WordPress.Com. Nobody in their organization remembers who set this up. They don’t even know what WordPress.Com is. We don’t have any account information other than the domain: collaborativepracticevt.com from the public record. I need access to the DNS settings. How can approach this? The access to account page requires information I don’t have.

    If you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the account, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:

    Just fill out as much information as you have including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX
