Access to internal server
-
I was editing my website when I got an internal server error (error 500).
Now I am unable to access the wordpress dashboard/website/administration page, it is as if my account and website have been completely deleted. And my website is a mess. I had to create this account to be able to seek help in the forum.
Please help! -
Hi there,
What is the URL for the site you’re referring to?
Please note that this forum is exclusively for WordPress.com websites; for open-source WordPress websites (from WordPress.org), there is a dedicated forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums
Thank You! :)

Hi there,
isobrine.com is a site hosted with GoDaddy and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org), whereas this forum deals with sites hosted through WordPress.com.
The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org
At https://wordpress.org/support, WordPress.org provides complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of the software as well as support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums
Is there anyone I could call so that I am able to work through this with them?
Please note that there is no phone support available.
I suggest posting your question on the WordPress.org support forum and you can be sure that anyone in the community will help you out.
Hope this helps! :)

If you haven’t already, can you ask your host for help with this? It’s a guide for troubleshooting that particular error message:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/common-wordpress-errors/#internal-server-errorGoing forward, you’ll want to be sure to use the forums for the free WordPress code, as that’s fairly different from the hosting services we’re supporting here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Here are the main differences:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/#overview-of-optionsHoping that helps!
