I am so frustrated. I have been talking to Chat bots for two whole days – going round and round in circles.
The site is a WordPress site
It’s hosted by Bluehost
Bluehost say it’s “pointed” to WordPress
WordPress don’t know

Hi @jednovick,
I can see your frustration. Let me help clarify what’s happening:
Your site situation:
- Hosted on: WordPress.com
- Domain registered with: Bluehost (separate from hosting)
- Issue: You can’t access the site to edit it
The problem: When your domain is “pointed” to WordPress.com from Bluehost, you need to log into WordPress.com (not Bluehost) to edit your site.
To access your site:
- Log into WordPress.com:
- Go to: https://wordpress.com/log-in
- Use the email/password you created when you set up the WordPress.com hosting
- If you can’t remember your WordPress.com login:
- Try password reset: https://wordpress.com/log-in
- Click “Lost your password?”
- Use the email associated with your WordPress.com account
- If you don’t know which email is linked:
- I’m tagging this with modlook so WordPress.com staff can help verify your account ownership and restore access
Important: Bluehost only manages your domain registration, they can’t help with WordPress.com site access. WordPress.com manages your hosting and site editing.

Let me know if you can’t find your WordPress.com login and staff will help!
