access to my ftp site???

  I need how to get to the ftp site for my blog.  I pay you to host it, but I can’t figure out how to upload a new template.  My site is http://www.wholettheyankin.com.  My user name is (email visible only to moderators and staff).  Please contact me ASAP so that I can get my login information…

  1) sorry but you don’t pay WordPress.COM for hosting – hosting here is always free

  2) You are paying for Domain Mapping at WordPress.COM

  3) There is no FTP access here

  4) You can’t upload custom themes – it is a security and performance issue – themes at WordPress.COM are highly modified to run here

  4B) You are limited to the over 220 themes you can find from your dashboard

  5) All upgrades at WordPress.COM are EXACTLY what they say they are no more no less

  Thanks for this, actually my blog used to be http://www.wholettheyankin.wordpress.com, and they asked me by email if I would like it as a .com domain, with the domain of http://www.wholettheyankin.com. I know I paid about £90.00 for a year of hosting, didn’t make notes of it at the time… Can you point me to anyone at WordPress who can help me? Also, do you have any idea how to access the header.php file to add Google analytics?

  http://wholettheyankin.com/ is hosted at WordPress.COM – you paid for domain mapping, domain registration and some other features, but hosting was not what you paid for – as I said above – hosting is always free – all you paid for was changing the name visitors see when they visit your blog

  You can’t edit any php files here – it is a security issue – all blogs here use the same theme files – so if you edited the header.php file for a theme and I used the same theme and you crashed the theme you would also crash my blog

  You can’t use Google Analytics here – the code get stripped out

  Ask others here all you want including the staff and they will give you the same answer
