Access to my WordPress dashboard
-
Good morning, my http://www.brunosamba.es page loads correctly, but I can’t access WordPress to edit it. I enter “brunosamba.es/wp-admin” in the bar to access WordPress, and it redirects to “https://brunosamba.es/?page_id=1255,” leaving the screen black. I would appreciate it if someone could help me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve solved it. What I did was access my hosting, and within wp-content, I changed the name of the plugins folder to plugins_old. Now I’ll check which plugin was causing the error.

It sounds like your WordPress admin page is redirecting incorrectly and ending up on a blank screen — that can be frustrating.
This issue is often caused by a plugin conflict, a theme problem, or a corrupted
.htaccessfile. Here are a few steps you can try to fix it:- Access your site via FTP or File Manager (through your hosting control panel).
- Disable plugins temporarily by renaming the
wp-content/pluginsfolder to something likeplugins_old. Then try accessingbrunosamba.es/wp-adminagain. If it works, a plugin is the issue — you can then rename the folder back and deactivate plugins one by one to find the culprit. - Switch to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four). You can do this via FTP by renaming your current theme folder inside
wp-content/themes. WordPress will automatically fall back to a default theme if it’s installed. - Check your
.htaccessfile. Rename it to.htaccess_oldand see if that helps. If it does, go to WordPress settings > Permalinks (once you’re back in the dashboard) and click “Save” to regenerate the file.
If none of these steps work, your hosting provider might be able to help by checking the server error logs.

Hi @jotasantos988,
I am glad that you were able to resolve the issue!
I took a look at your site and noticed that it isn’t hosted on WordPress.com. Instead, it is using the self-hosted version of WordPress with a different hosting provider. We specifically support sites built with WordPress technology that are hosted on WordPress.com. You can read more about the differences here:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
If you have further questions on the site, kindly post your question on the WordPress.org community forums using this link:

On another note, if you ever consider switching to a more hands-off hosting experience, we offer free migrations to WordPress.com, a service that typically costs $500. You can learn more about this offer here: https://wordpress.com/support/request-a-free-migration/.
