Access to my WordPress dashboard

  Good morning, my http://www.brunosamba.es page loads correctly, but I can’t access WordPress to edit it. I enter “brunosamba.es/wp-admin” in the bar to access WordPress, and it redirects to “https://brunosamba.es/?page_id=1255,” leaving the screen black. I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

  I’ve solved it. What I did was access my hosting, and within wp-content, I changed the name of the plugins folder to plugins_old. Now I’ll check which plugin was causing the error.

  It sounds like your WordPress admin page is redirecting incorrectly and ending up on a blank screen — that can be frustrating.

  This issue is often caused by a plugin conflict, a theme problem, or a corrupted .htaccess file. Here are a few steps you can try to fix it:

  1. Access your site via FTP or File Manager (through your hosting control panel).
  2. Disable plugins temporarily by renaming the wp-content/plugins folder to something like plugins_old. Then try accessing brunosamba.es/wp-admin again. If it works, a plugin is the issue — you can then rename the folder back and deactivate plugins one by one to find the culprit.
  3. Switch to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four). You can do this via FTP by renaming your current theme folder inside wp-content/themes. WordPress will automatically fall back to a default theme if it’s installed.
  4. Check your .htaccess file. Rename it to .htaccess_old and see if that helps. If it does, go to WordPress settings > Permalinks (once you’re back in the dashboard) and click “Save” to regenerate the file.

  If none of these steps work, your hosting provider might be able to help by checking the server error logs.
