Access to other account?: SMS code doesn't arrive, account recovery can't be done.

Hi,
I’m trying to access my other account, which I’ve had for years, without success. I can submit my password, which is accepted (and which is correct), but I never receive the validation code in my SMS (while the 4 digits of my phone number are correct). I can receive any other SMS sent to my phone, so that’s not the problem.
I wanted to set up Two-factor Authentication with that account with another authenticator instead of the SMS system, but I can’t do that right now since I don’t have the access.
I’ve tried to contact support about this, but that’s rather impossible because of the following:
1. I do not have the activation key/url anymore. Those kind of things I delete, for one, and for another, that account is about 6 – 7 years old, maybe even older.
2. I can’t seem to find the back up codes for that account (set up two-factor authentication years ago with text SMS).
3. Any of the (I think) 10 transaction ID’s I entered (Custom CSS for several years, akismet for several years) is being rejected with the message:
‘The receipt does not appear to be valid.’So, although I’ve got loads of proof ownership from payments for that particular account, they’re not being accepted. I’ve got the receipts and transaction ID’s. The Transaction ID’s in the Paypal overview are different from the transaction ID’s on the receipt, but no matter which one I use, none of them are accepted.
And thus: I can’t send in the request for account recovery, which was the only option I saw left, since the SMS with the validation/verification code doesn’t arrive.
An extra downfall to not having that access anymore is that the Akismet key is made on that account and now in use on my privately hosted site and thus I don’t have access to my paid Akismet account anymore either.
Other things, like removing (no more existing) sites from the Jetpack monitor linked to that account is something I can’t do anymore either.
How on earth can I get into my account? Why isn’t the SMS code being received, while I can receive any other SMS without a hitch?
