Access to private posts in a public blog
-
I want to have some private posts that only invited people can see, How do I do this, or am I obliged (a) to make guests administrators or (b) make the entire blog private? Will a password-protect be enough – I just send the password to invitees?
I’m sure this is a very common situation, but I can’t see anything relevant in the forum pages. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can create password protected posts or private posts. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/

The link doesn’t answer my question.
It tells me how protected the post can be, but not whether I have to send a password to everyone I would like to have access, or whether anyone can get access just by inventing a password. I think some wouldn’t want to open a wordpress account just to read a post of mine.
It looks as if they’d have to. -
Ok – I re-read it. I do have to send the password to anyone I’d like to read the post. Thanks.
