Access to Secondary Blog!

    Hi there. I had my own WordPress under my name, and then worked for a company and opened another (and paid for a domain name myself). I no longer work for the company and they do not with to continue using it.
    I set it all up with my info and debit card (can forward invoice). BUT because it it linked to my original personal WordPress, I can’t seem to figure out how to crack into the settings for the secondary one. I wish to make it my main one and was hoping to change the domain name.

    I guess first I need help accessing the settings and stuff for the second one, and I need to know if I can change the domain name, as I paid for it.

    This is my original main account which I can access without any problem:

    This is the one I set up for the company but that is some how linked to my private one. This is the one I want access to so I can make a few changes and change the domain name.

    Hi, Brian.

    I’m afraid I’m a bit confused by your situation. Let me check my understanding.
    1. You set up and paid for the site for your company;
    2. It is “linked” to your personal WordPress.com account;
    3. Your company doesn’t want the site anymore, but you do.

    However, you are unable to log in to http://originalmediacastingportal.com/

    So, after you left your company, did you transfer ownership to someone else at the company, who then continued to maintain the site? How did you log in to the site before?

    Thanks for getting back so quickly-
    Yes, you understand correctly. I created the site and I was the only one who needed to use it. They don’t wish to use it, and I was hoping to get back into it.
    For some reason, when I set it up, it was linked to my existing personal blog- maybe I used the same email?
    Regardless, I paid for the upgrade (I have the invoice) to have a domain name. I would like to change the domain name and re-edit the content so it can reflect my work.
    When I go to the “work” one, and then try and get into the settings, it brings me to the settings for my personal blog. I know the possible emails I used if it wasn’t my personal one, and I know the passwords (though I don’t remember off hand, I’d have to try a few!).

    Is there anything I can do?

    Okay. I’m still not sure I understand, but I think you probably need to start with Account Recovery. I really think that your two sites are associated with different accounts somehow.
