Hi there!
Your site at simplelowcaloriecooking.com is currently hosted by Bluehost. WordPress sites hosted elsewhere use WordPress.org.
We can help with WordPress.com sites in this forum. There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it: WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org.
To manage your existing WordPress.org site with Bluehost, you’ll need to log in directly at simplelowcaloriecooking.com/wp-admin.
Since you’re yet to start building your site, we can help if you’d like to start with us at WordPress.com. We have several WordPress.com plans that are catered to sites with different needs. And we can help you directly with building your site or by answering questions you have while building it.
Would you like to tell us a bit about the site you’re building? What’s the site for, and what features do you need on your site? This will help us learn more about your site goals and share personalized suggestions with you.

Hi there,
I was able to duplicate the issue you mentioned at http://simplelowcaloriecooking.com/wp-admin/
You look to be experiencing an error on your site (White Screen of Death), likely caused by a plugin or theme.
You can find some troubleshooting tips here:
- https://www.bluehost.com/blog/tech-tip-fix-white-screen-death/
As mentioned, we can only offer support for sites hosted here with us at WordPress.com.
Should you need help with your self-hosted WordPress site, you will want to contact your host.
You can view the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

Bluehost can help, but the issue has to do with the Strike Blog theme. How can I delete that theme?

So, I have found that it is associated with the Strike Blog theme. Can
that them be deleted?

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is differ.ent (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that yes the theme can be deleted, and help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help you remove that theme from your site.
Thanks!
