I am working with a developer to customize my blog. He asks:

Do you know if there’s any way you’re able to access the source .php files associated with your blog?

    What’s the answer?

    Please and thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The answer is “no”. This is a multiuser wpMU blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same themes are using the same underlying template. Only Staff can access those files and edit as every edit they make affects all blogs wearing the same theme. Please direct him to this relevant support doc > http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

Another thing to note is this. Your theme Modern News is a premium theme. We Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no access to premium themes and knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.
