I have a website with WordPress that is still up on the web from years ago, but it’s not showing up in ‘my sites’ on my dashboard. I can’t access it or update it. How do I move this site back into my account? I don’t think I changed the account. So I’m not sure why this happened.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First things first: what is the URL of that site?

If you’re unable to see a website in your WordPress dashboard but it’s still up on the web, there could be a few reasons for this. Here are a few things you can try:

    1. Check your account permissions: Make sure that you’re logged in with the correct WordPress account that has access to the website. If you have multiple accounts, you may have accidentally logged in with the wrong one.
    2. Check if the website is connected to your account: Go to wordpress.com and log in with your account details. From there, you should be able to see a list of websites that are connected to your account. If the website isn’t listed, it’s possible that it was created under a different account.
    3. Try resetting your password: If you think you may have forgotten your account password, try resetting it by clicking on the “Forgot password?” link on the WordPress login page.
    4. Contact WordPress support: If you’re still unable to access the website, it’s possible that there may be a technical issue on WordPress’s end. Contact their support team and provide them with as much information as possible about the website, including the URL and any other relevant details. They may be able to help you regain access to the website.

    I hope this helps!

@outofbodytravel the site you linked should be appearing under this account. If you need help with a different site, can you share its link? I’d bet it’s just under another username, in which case you can try commenting on the site and watching for which email gets the notification. Then log out, and log in with that.

@bloghowtodothings We’re glad you’re here! I’ve modified your reply so it doesn’t include a link to an outside site in the signature, so that it’s aligned with our community standards. Please take a look at those standards and guides here, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Thanks!
