Access to WPAdmin
-
I have a WP website. I am the owner of that domain name and produced all of the content on it. I pay for hosting on SiteGround. A former friend helped with the design of the site and at the time purchased, as a gift, a WordPress theme for the site. For several days I have not been able to open the WPAdmin for my site. I suspect my former friend, who was also an administrator, has removed me from access. Can you advise me how to reclaim access to my site? I would be happy to pay whatever cost there is for the WP theme.

Hi there,
Looks like you’re in the wrong forum. It appears that you’re using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am unable to log in on Word Press.org. It recognizes my email address but not my password. I request a new pass but not email comes to my inbox.

Remember that your WordPress.com and WordPress.org accounts are unrelated. They should have different passwords. Here’s how you reset the .org password:
