Access url to the Classic editor/admin

  I have noticed more upgrades and used to access the classic editor via the top left bar dropdown which is now gone.

  While the upgrade might be good for bloggers, for professionals the new version doesn’t cut it.

  Can you provide me with the extra url to add to my site address to access the classic admin?

  Staff are categorically not going to restore the said link. They want us to forget about the classic dashboard and login there and to forget about the classic editor.

  Newer members apparently don’t have access at all. More’s the pity because the new editor is set up for those who use mobiles and tablets.

  The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  *Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.

  Thank you timethief. It works!

  I hope we can continue to access the CE dashboard and editor through this link. It is a fantastic system for writers.

  Eventually I expect the classic interface will disappear. However, I became so p—– off at all the changes that were promoted as an improved experience on our dashboards – when in fact they resulted in a longer and more difficult and less pleasing experience for desktop users that I removed my domain upgrades and archived my blogs.
