Access webpage by post ID & without shortlink?

  Hello. I’m new. Had this wordpress site ‘mathematiciowned’ for a decade. Never really used until now.

  Eg this page https://mathematiciowned.wordpress.com/2023/03/28/571/ i can access the webpage directly or by shortlink https://wp.me/p1w4Rr-9d but is there a way to access the webpage without shortlink but still containing the post ID p1w4Rr-9d ? like https://mathematiciowned.wordpress.com/2023/03/28/571/p1w4Rr-9d or https://mathematiciowned.wordpress.com/p1w4Rr-9d or https://wordpress.me/p1w4Rr-9d or https://wordpress.com/p1w4Rr-9d or https://mathematiciowned.wordpress.com/p1w4Rr-9d or https://mathematiciowned.wordpress.me/p1w4Rr-9d ?

  p1w4Rr-9d isn’t really the post ID. It’s part of the short URL automatically generated for this particular post.

  The post ID is 571, and you can use it like this to access the full post: https://mathematiciowned.wordpress.com/?p=571

  1. so how can i find out the post ID’s for each post please? hmmm … oh click edit and then see the post ID in the URL?
  2. is there a way for other people to find out the post ID (besides manually testing out every positive integer) ?

  This can usually be found in the source code of the page/post.

  It’s not possible to generate a shortlink – out of curiosity, are you asking about this with regards to sharing on social media?
