Accessing a domain that is no longer hosted

    Hello, I previously had a small blog on wordpress that I have not hosted in a long time and is no longer active. I am having trouble accessing the site to pull my old blog posts. I’m not quite sure how to access the information for my site that is not longer active. I found old links in my email that were log-in links for the site, but those no longer work and bring me to a 404-gateway error. Main goal is to pul the content form old blog posts. Thanks for any help.

    Thanks! Here’s what I can see.

    Domain is registered through http://www.xinnet.com and the current name servers (where the domain is pointed or hosted) are:

    Name Server: F1G1NS1.DNSPOD.NET
    Name Server: F1G1NS2.DNSPOD.NET

    It’s not connected to WordPress.com. My guess is that you were set up on the open source WordPress installation instead, which is the other version of WordPress. More help with that can come from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ But my first suggestion is to contact the registrar and hosting provider as a first step.

    Another thing to try is putting the domain in to https://archive.org/web/ which is commonly called the wayback machine. It may have some stored content from the old site you can view.
