Accessing a private page , can WordPress grant acess if the site owner is unres

    Hi, I ‘m not sure if this is the right place to ask questions. I ‘m a recently new WordPress user. I really like a site called tallwomenstories WordPress .com but it ‘s now a private page. When I try to login in using my WordPress.com account it gives me the message “ request access from site owner “ and we ‘ll notify you when it ‘s been approved . In my experience , these type of accesses usually take a day or two . This has not been the case with this site . I have tried multiple times over the last few weeks . Obviously I can wait how ever long the owner of the site takes to approve my request . However , it ‘s not fair to me to have to wait months or even years for what should take a minute! Can you as the staff overide or have a power in approving me ? Thanks a depressed disgruntled dreamthrill.

    Hi, staff wouldn’t be able to grant you access to a site; they may have made it private for any reason and it’s not up to us to give people access anyway.

    That said, just to confirm, you’re looking at tallwomenstories.WordPress.com? That one does not seem to be private.
