I have four active wordpress sites, but am only able to log in to and access the dashboard for one of them. The one I am able to enter is listed as my primary. It used to be there was a category – ‘my sites’ – that allowed movement between all of them. Where do i go to find a way in to all four?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

You should be able to see all the sites in your account here: https://wordpress.com/sites

If you open the link https://wordpress.com/ and sign-in, you will see a blue admin bar on the top. Select My Sites on the top-left, it will take you to your primary domain.

There is a Switch Site button beneath My Sites. You can see all the sites added to your account here and switch between them.

thank you so much for responding :) the problem is wordpress is not recognizing any of my passwords except the one for what it considers my primary site. I am unable to access any sites outside of that one. when i go there and see the blue admin bar you mentioned it says “my site” – singular. i cannot reach anyone to help e re-establish passwords and am unable to log on to any of my other site dashboards to change them.

Could you please provide the URL of all the sites that you are not able to see?

the problem is wordpress is not recognizing any of my passwords except the one for what it considers my primary site. I am unable to access any sites outside of that one.

If you have added other sites in this user account with the username ‘ellabalou’ then you just need one password for this WordPress.com account and you should be able to see all your sites here.

Are your sites hosted somewhere else? Have you connected them using Jetpack to WordPress.com? If yes, then it might help to reconnect Jetpack for those sites.

You’ll need to log into your site’s WP-Admin page and reconnect Jetpack from there. This cannot be done from your account on WordPress.com

    the site i can access:

    http://www.sparrowloom.wordpress.com

    the sites i cannot access:

    http://www.grafieklm.wordpress.com

    http://www.dogorama.wordpress.cm

    http://www.fortydeluxe.wordpress.com

None of the passwords that were affiliated with the inaccessible sites above are working. The problem may be that when these sites were created my email address was (email visible only to moderators and staff). This email address is now defunct, and so I cannot receive the Reset Password emails that could be sent to me to re-establish the sites. Is there any way to securely reset the passwords with WordPress? Or to send the Reset Password link to another email address?

Please note: please send any reply emails on this thread to me at (email visible only to moderators and staff). The address you are sending them to ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is my work address and this is a personal matter.

    Thank you so much!

It seems you have multiple accounts on WordPress.com and used your other account to create the sites which are not accessible now.

You can still recover your account if you can provide the information in the Account Recovery Form: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

You can also try reaching your company with which you had the now defunct email and ask them to temporarily restore your email account so that you can reset your password.

Is there any way to securely reset the passwords with WordPress? Or to send the Reset Password link to another email address?

You need to have access to your email account to reset your password. The password reset link can only be sent to the email address which is listed on your account.

please send any reply emails on this thread to me at (email redacted). The address you are sending them to ((email redacted)) is my work address and this is a personal matter.

The emails are sent to email address on your WordPress.com account which can be changed from here.

I am also adding ‘modlook’ tag so that the staff can have a look at your account and assist you.

i can access the email address that is attached to the one account i can get in to – this address is kerri@2ndstbeauty. I CANNOT access the old email address attached to my earlier accounts, those i mentioned in my last note, as that email address no longer exists. It is attached to an old verizon account which no longer provides me service.

Since I am able to access the email connected with my wordpress site Sparrowloom, can i get my other sites under that account so i may get to their respective dashboards? One of these sites is where i exhibit and curate my work as a graphic designer and it is terribly important to my income.

Thank you so much by the way for all of your input. I have tried to engage with all sorts of support at wordpress and yours is the only thread that has responded.

The other sites appear to have been set up under different usernames. If you remember the passwords perhaps you can get to those sites with these usernames:

    Hi folks,

Since I am able to access the email connected with my wordpress site Sparrowloom, can i get my other sites under that account so i may get to their respective dashboards?

No, not really. You would still need to provide proof of ownership, as we have no other way of verifying those sites really are yours.

As folks have mentioned, if you don’t have proof of ownership as listed here, your best bets are either to regain access to your old email accounts (noting dogorama is a separate account, too) or try to guess the passwords.

The good news is, once you regain access, you can fairly easily transfer ownership of the sites to a single account with an email address you plan to keep indefinitely. You can also set up backup access just in case you lose access to that email address, and you can keep those settings up to date as needed so you’ll never lose access again.
