Accessing blog text after migration to squarespace

I have migrated my website from WordPress/Bluehost to Squarespace. However, the migration has been unsuccessful, given that I’m not any to access the text from my previous 2 years of blog posts. How can I access the text so I can rebuild my blog posts on Squarespace?

  • Hi @hollymoore0777, I can’t speak for Bluehost, but here’s how you would migrate a site off of our servers. The process should be somewhat similar:
    https://wordpress.com/support/export/

Note these forums are for sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, which is separate from your WordPress installation at Bluehost. We host sites too, with WordPress support, maintenance, and lots of extra built-in features.

So our setup is a bit different; we have more info on that here. But as long as the old site still exists with Bluehost, you should be able to use those export steps or something similar.

If the site from Bluehost is gone and your account with them is closed, I’d recommend reaching out to them to see if you can recover that & get an extra month of hosting to complete the migration.

    Hoping this helps!
