Accessing Files on Website

    Could someone please explain to me the process of going into my blog’s files and editing them?
    Is there a way I can access my website’s files through WordPress as though it were an FTP?

    There are some files I want to upload into theme-specific directories (such as an avatar for the ‘about’ section; MistyLook), and some files I’d like to retrieve or delete, that are not displayed or accessible through the WordPress Media Library, or the Theme Editor.

    From the sounds of it, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported.

    This is the wordpress.COM free hosting service, and we do not have FTP access, nor can we edit theme files.

    If you are talking about a blog hosted here, then we would need a link to that blog.
