accessing my new website

    I just signed up with DreamHost for a WordPress website, and can’t seem to access it. I got an email from WordPress with a link to create a password, but the link takes me to a generic WordPress home page, and I’m not signed in anywhere. There’s no option for creating a password there. I tried creating a WordPress account, but that seems different than what I need to get into my website. I can’t access my admin dashboard or change the theme. Help!

    Hi Brett! WordPress.org and WordPress.com are two different platforms. For more information on features of both platforms please read here: https://wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
    We are currently on WordPress.com platform – all the sites you create with WordPress.com will be shown under your account.

    You can also post your question in WordPress.org forum to get the exact solution of your issue. Here is the link: https://wordpress.org/support/
