Accessing my site

Hello, I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone to help me fix my restaurant’s website. I know it’s a wordpress site but whenever I log onto wordpress it says I don’t have any sites. My website is called snappypattys.com, last time I had this problem support was able to direct me to the site’s editing page. We had someone create the website for us but unfortunately they no longer work with us. We need to make adjustments asap as the possibility of a second covid wave could be upon us. Thank you for taking the time to read this, any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Hi there,

The site snappypattys.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on GoDaddy Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

    You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/snappypattys.com+dns

I know it’s a wordpress site but whenever I log onto wordpress it says I don’t have any sites.

To clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org (the version GoDaddy uses) are two different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only the ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. That is why you do not see your GoDaddy site here under your WordPress.com account. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.

You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: http://wordpress.org/support/

You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance.

Hope that points you in the right direction!
