Accessing old blog

  I have an old blog I wish to make private because of the nature of the material and I cannot find any sign in details. For that reason I cannot put the blog address here. Is it possible for me to send a private message regarding the problem?

  Sadly not. I have no proof of ID. I was hoping for another workaround.

  Ouch, that must be frustrating. Unfortunately without proof of ownership access to the account cannot be granted for security purposes.

  However, you do have one option left.

  If there’s personal information on your blog, you may request that we set it to private so that search engines and users can’t access it.

  You can make this request by emailing the account recovery team at

  passwordhelp[at]wordpress[dot]com
