Accessing old wordpress
-
Hello, I transferred my domain name of auntlute.com from a wordpress site around July 2017. I believe our wordpress webpage was auntlute.wordpress.org. I can’t seem to find it anymore. There were a number of old posts on our website I’d like to save and add to our new website. Is there any way to access the old webpage? I’ve tried using our admin log in on wordpress but that doesn’t seem to work anymore. Do you know why this is?
I apologize for any misuse of terms. I’m not completely familiar with website hosting terminology. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
The domain, auntlute.com, is currently registered with Network Solutions, and the site at that domain is hosted by Earthlink.net. That site is using the open source WordPress software, not WordPress.com, so we’re not able to help you with it here.
If you’re trying to access old content that used to be on that site but isn’t any more, the only people who’d be able to help you are your hosting provider – hopefully your hosting plan includes backups of your site, in which case the content might be recoverable via an old backup.
Or if you’d moved that site from a different hosting provider last year, you’ll need to contact the old hosting provider.
That domain has never been connected to any site on WordPress.com, though, and no site with the free address, auntlute.wordpress.com has ever been created with us.
Your site also could never have had the address, auntlute.wordpress.org, as WordPress.org is not a hosting provider, and you cannot create a site on that domain as you can on WordPress.com.
