Accessing Pages after Downgrading
-
Good Day !
I’m trying to edit my site while in the ‘free’ plan after having downgraded from Premium a few months ago. I wasn’t aware that some of my header pages can’t be accessed (link goes to my old domain versus the ‘.wordpress’ link).
How can I edit my pages so that everything is able to be accessed while in the free account status ?
(I hope I explained it well)
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there!
I just visited your site and clicked the links in your menu, and I think I understand what you mean.
I have good news! The pages aren’t actually hidden. The links in your menu point to the custom domain
akingstestimony.com, and since it’s no longer active, the browser fails to load anything. The actual pages are still online and can be accessed. For example, your donation page is here: https://akingstestimony.wordpress.com/donations/
You can fix the links by editing your menu. In the Site Editor, click the menu item to open the block settings on the right sidebar. Inside, you’ll find the “Link” tab, which currently points to your old custom domain. You’ll want to replace
https://akingstestimony.comwithhttps://akingstestimony.wordpress.com, making sure that everything from the trailing slash (/) to the end remains unchanged. For example, the “Donation” menu link should change from
https://akingstestimony.com/donations/tohttps://akingstestimony.wordpress.com/donations/.Please check out the screenshot below:

We also have a guide with a video that shows how to edit menu items using the Site Editor.
Once done, click Save to save the changes.
You’ll need to repeat this process for all links in the menu that still point to the old domain.
Hope that helps!
