Accessing pages for edit

I have two websites; ahlandon.wordpress.com and kmsfilmstudies.wordpress.com . I can access filmstudies site on by adding address to address bar and this only allows me to view not make changes. When I attempt to isolate the site to work on it I am immediately diverted to the ahlandon site. I don’t know how to separate the two different sites. HELP!

Hi there,
WordPress.com accounts are tied to email addresses.
Have you tried logging into https://kmsfilmstudies.wordpress.com/wp-admin using a different email address?
Once you have access to it, you can then consolidate the 2 sites to one account if you’d like.

Yes, I want the two into one account, but I’m not sure what you mean by using another email address. I can’t access anything within the site to change the email address. It’s like I’m locked out. I need to understand how to do what your asking. When I put the filmstudies address in the bar it takes me to the site as a viewer, but is not allowing me to login. Bonnie

My dashboard only shows ahlandon as an option. Unknowingly, I have changed something because I used to be able to switch between both sites at the dashboard. I need to get back to that access. Bonnie

I can’t access anything within the site to change the email address. It’s like I’m locked out.
I’m suggesting that you may have registered each blog under a different email address.
If you want to give it a shot, try logging into https://kmsfilmstudies.wordpress.com/wp-admin using a different email address than the one used with your ahlandon.wordpress.com blog
If you don’t remember your password, try resetting/recovering it by clicking the link available on the login page. Again, it may be a different email address.
Let me know how this goes, or if you run into any issues.
I’ll also tag this post with ‘modlook’ so that a Staff member can take a closer look at both accounts and verify if they are under separate email addresses.

@quitevisiblestudio is correct – The two sites that you mention are under separate accounts. ahlandon.wordpress.com is connected to the account you are contacting us from, but in order to edit the kmsfilmstudies.wordpress.com site, you’ll need to log in under the email associated with that account.
