Accessing Site
-
Hi,
I built a site on WordPress with the DNS Settings pointing to my current host provider.
I have since moved from WordPress to Squarespace and changed the DNS Settings. Is it not possible to see the design of the website at all now that I have changed the settings?
Even though the site is not active, can I still access the editor and work on it?
Kind regards,

Hi there!
It checked your domain and found that it wasn’t hosted by us at WordPress.com. This means you used the self-hosted version of WordPress, and your site was hosted by a different hosting service provider, not us.
We can help with WordPress.com sites in this forum. There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
It is possible to see the sites hosted by WordPress.com even if the domain is no longer pointed to it, but your site wasn’t hosted here, so we are unable to help. Please contact your hosting service provider and ask them if they have a link to access the site. If the site is still on their servers, they might have a temporary URL that you can use to view the site and log in if needed.
You can also post for general help on the WordPress.org support forum, but only your host can help you with accessing the site.
