Accessing the classic stats page.

  Effective this afternoon, users can no longer access the classic stats page using the My Sites menu. Selecting stats from the menu brings up the new dashboard/stats page.

  For those who prefer the old design, there are 3 ways to access the classic stats (there might be others as well).

  1. From the Blue Tunnel of Doom new stats page, scroll waaaaaaay down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Visit the old stats page” button.

  2. From the My Site menu, select WP Admin. Select “View All” in the stats module.

  3. Use this link: https://wordpress.com/my-stats/ Bookmark it.

  You may be prompted to answer a survey regarding your preferences for the old stats. I’ll suppress my penchant for cynicism and snarkiness and suggest that you should answer it.

  I do not think you are telling us anything here that most of us already know but thanks for posting it anyway.

  How can I set my page so that I always have the “classics” Stats page?

  There are two old Stats pages and they are both available from the classic dashboard. You can go directly to the classic dashboard by logging in here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?.

  The old Stats pages are

  1. https://YourWeirdWebsiteName.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats (really old, “classic”). Link is found in the dashboard admin panel in the “Dashboard” drop-down menu (clock symbol).

  2. https://wordpress.com/my-stats/ (kinda old, “super classic”). The link is found in the dashboard navigation menu, in the website title drop-down menu.

  Or just add a bookmark to a bookmarks toolbar.

  However, there are multiple threads and there are bloggers who are posting into more than one thread. It would make sense to have close all of these redundant threads and leave only one open so that’s what I am requesting.
