Accessing the dashboard

    I am able to access my dashboard by clicking ‘my site’ at the top left side of my blog and then scrolling down to WP Admin in the sidebar and clicking that. However, some themes that students are using do not have the WP Admin option in this sidebar menu. Others have had a ‘site admin’ link on their blog site that would allow them to access their dashboard, but I am not seeing that as an option now. The only way they have been able to access their dashboard is by actually typing in the wp-admin into the URL.
    Is there a shortcut link to how they can easily access their dashboard?

    I don’t think it is theme-related. Newer WordPress.com accounts don’t have the wp-admin link in the left-hand menu, whilst older accounts such as yours still do. I’m afraid you’ll just have to tell your students to bookmark the wp-admin link in their browsers.
