Accessing the Root File

  Hi!

  Currently I am using wordpress.com in building for my business. As part of the requirement, I have to add a file into the root folder for verification purpose. I would like to know if it is possible for accessing the root file? If yes, how?

  It’s not possible to add a file to the root folder, but WordPress.com does provide ways for you to verify your site with several popular services.

  Which service are you trying to verify?
