Accessing WIdgets

  I am trying to edit the text widget but when I go to Customize, and the Widgets tab, it says I have no widgets to access. I have tried using the tutorial to find them but there are still none showing up in that menu yet there is a text widget showing on our home page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, if you can’t access the widgets through the Customizer, try through the WP Admin dashboard at https://ohyestheydidca.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  There have been some issues with the Widgets panel in the Customizer and IE11 — could you confirm whether you’re using IE11?

  The workarounds are:

  – Use a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox

  – Use the WP Admin widgets dashboard at the link Jennifer provided above.

  Let me know how it goes.

  Thanks, @kathrynwp. Just wanted to mention that at the bottom of Shine On, there’s an ORG footer link (also on the demo site).

  Thank you both. I was able to access the widgets through the wp admin. I’m new at this so I appreciate the quick responses!

  The issue with seeing certain widget areas in the Customizer in IE11 should now be fixed. If you’re still having any problems, please try clearing your browser’s cache. Let me know if you continue to have any issues.
