Accessing wp-admin from WP.com blogs

  I have been trying to import my livejournal blog to a new wordpress.com blog. Since I heard that the Manage –> Import –> Livejournal feature did not import comments, I did a google search and found this reference and this code source to circumvent the problem. But I have not been able to access the wp-admin in the Dashboard section of wordpress.com blogs so I could change the import php. Is there a way that I can do this or is this a feature that is only available through wordpress.org and a blog I host myself?

  yup, its only available for self hosted blogs

  Thank you for your assistance. I also realized, after I decided to try out the automatic Livejournal transfer that it now transfers comments, which could have saved me a lot of headaches.
