Accessing www.wordpress.com
-
I can access the internet fine, with any other address, but when I enter www. wordpress.com or http://www.savehaygatefields.wordpress.com all I get is:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.I can’t access support or anything. I’ve cleared the cache as well
What’s going on?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve read all the comments about Talk Talk in the forum. Seems like the two organisations aren’t getting their act together meanwhile users can’t get to their websites. WP don’t appear to be talking matters seriously and there appears to be no urgency or attempts to keep people informed.
-
Have you contacted Talk Talk? You’re their customer. WordPress is working for every other ISP.
-
Yes I have. But the general experience of Talk Talk is poor. My view is that the problem may be with Talk Talk but is surely mst be in the interests of WP to get the problem solved as a matter of urgency. WP is a big player and Talk Talk is more likely to react to a WP intervention than us little players. Be proactive WP, not just lay off the problem onto Talk Talk.

Well, if I called a cab and they couldn’t get to me because the city had torn up the street on the way to my house, I’d call the city.

No and I find your negative attitude unhelpful. A cab company worth its salt would not be sitting back and doing nothing. The city is affecting its business and its customers. I had too much of this “its not our fault gov” when dealing with companies who could not deliver blaming it on someone or something else.
