Accidental changed URL
-
So I’m listing my site on flippa, and I was having some trouble understanding how to verify my site. They said it had to be accessible to this specific URL, so I frustrated-ly started messing with the URL settings, after multiple fatal attempts at other ways to connect my site. And accidentally changed the URL completely. Yes, I’m an idiot. I am fully aware of that now. I can’t access my site at all and can’t find a way to change the URL back, and my site has disappeared completely from my Bluehost dashboard. Is there a way I can undo this whole mess and get my site back?

Hi there!
Since what you describe wouldn’t be possible on WordPress.com, I believe your site is not hosted with us. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
