  I meant to register on wordpress.org. I am extremely disappointing. It says I have to wait 60 days to transfer my domain. Please help. I can’t wait that long. I can’t upload the theme I bought. It was pretty expensive. I need to transfer the domain.

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately there is no way to undo the lock which is placed on domains. That is placed by the domain registry and is there to prevent domains from being stolen.

  You can however point your domain anywhere you’d like. So if you’d like to change the nameservers of your domain towards some third party hosting, you certainly can! You can follow the instructions here:

  You also can choose to cancel your domain. Within a few days your domain will be released back to the general public where anyone can purchase it. If you are willing to take the risk that someone else might purchase the domain before you can, you may want to pursue that option.
