Accidental Site Deletion

  Hey– I accidentally deleted pastortarge.wordpress.com
  I deleted it because I wanted to change the name of one of my other blogs to that and I changed the wrong one. So I deleted that blog and thought I could rename my other blog pastortarge.wordpress.com but now it says the name is unavailable.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’ve restored pastortarge.wordpress.com back to your account and it should now be listed under My Sites.

  and thought I could rename my other blog pastortarge.wordpress.com but now it says the name is unavailable.

  That’s right — deleting a site means that address becomes unavailable for use in the future, even on a new site.

  It’s not possible to rename an existing site to pastortarge.wordpress.com but the content can be exported from the other site and import it to pastortarge.wordpress.com. We can help transfer followers from one site to the other if that is something you decide to do.
