Accidentally canceled my domain
-
Hi,
I accidentally clicked to cancel my domain thinking the ‘cancel’ button was simply going to cancel the action and take me back to my home page. Is there a way for me to get it back? Thanks.

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Just to confirm – is the domain: 360edits.com?
This will help to determine next steps.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Do you still want the domain for your site here on WordPress.com, or do you plan on using it somewhere else?
If you want to use it here, I can send you a link to pay for the domain only and then restore it. But keep in mind in that case it will only redirect to your free WordPress.com address. To actually have the domain be what people see when they view your site, you will need a plan.
If you want to use it somewhere else and willing to wait a few days, the domain should become available again by early next week, at which point you can register it directly at the provider where you want to use it. If you prefer not to wait we can still restore it manually as above as well, and then help you point it to the other provider.
Let me know what you’d prefer.

Hello,
Sorry, I have a quick question, originally I bought the domain on WordPress.com, so if I were to restore it, would I be able to use it with WordPress.org instead? Thanks.

If you want to use the domain with a site hosted elsewhere, you will need to point it there:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#move-a-domain-name.
After 60 days from the cancelation, you will also be able to permanently move the domain to another registrar.
Let us know how you’d like to proceed.

Okay thank you, I’d like to pay for the domain only and use it with a site hosted elsewhere.

I have emailed you a payment form. Once you have completed the payment reply here and we’ll restore the domain.

Thanks for confirming. The domain is already back on your account :).
You can use the steps outlined here to point it to another site:
