  Hello,
  I accidentally cancelled the domain name while cancelling my hosting plan. Is there any chance to recover it?

  Sure thing. If you intend to use the domain here (but with a different plan) please go ahead and buy the plan and skip the domain option. Then update us here and we’ll re-add it.

  Otherwise, if you’ll be using a different service, we can create an $18 invoice now, or you can wait a few days for the domain to be released so you can purchase it elsewhere. Let us know what you’d like to do.

  Hi there,

  If you like to use the domain elsewhere it’s best to wait for a few days to be released so that you can register it again through the service of your choice.

  If we restore the domain here on your WordPress.com account, you won’t be able to transfer it for 60 days.

  If you cancelled it right after registering, it’s usually released 5 days later.

  Just so you’ve got options though, I’ve gone ahead and made an invoice. If you pay that and update us here, we can restore it.

  Or you can leave it and let it wait to register elsewhere. Just let us know and we’ll remove the invoice.

  I would like to wait for the domain to be released as i can’t use it elsewhere if i get it back on wordpress.

  Clarifying: you could use it elsewhere.

  You just wouldn’t be able to move the registration itself for some time.

  I tried to make the payment via many cards but it declined every time. Once i got a message to quote an error code RBLKLU.

  Hmm, the many cards could be causing an issue.

  If you see a message to contact Billing, you can do that, though at this point it may be best to just wait for the domain to be released. Let us know if you’d like us to remove the invoice.

  “The transaction was declined. Please contact support quoting error RBLKLU.”

  This is the error which i am getting. I am kind of in a hurry to get the domain so would really appreciate it if i could get it sooner any how.

  Please wait for the domain to be released. That’s the best approach right now. Trying to resolve a billing issue with us right now makes things more complicated.
