Accidentally changed URL, now redirects — help with fixing please

  • Unknown's avatar

I had a website, http://www.taxpolitics.com. I was fiddling around with changing it to a new domain I purchased yesterday. When I entered the new name into the Home and Site URL boxes, I didn’t realize it would redirect right away and I wouldn’t be able to go back and change them. I’ve tried some ideas I’ve seen in the support documentations, but the solutions I’ve tried in my bluehost cpanel have not helped. It redirects to a godaddy page (which is who I purchased the new domain name from). How can I go into my files and edit the home and site URLS to my old domain http://www.taxpolitics.com, so that it doesn’t redirect anymore? Thank you?
