Accidentally created 2nd account while trying to delete 1st account

I have switched my WordPress site to one hosted by GoDaddy, and am trying to get an activation key for Akismet for that site. In that attempt, Askismet associated with a WordPress.com site that I wish to delete, and I am stuck in an endless loop of trying to get an activation key for my GoDaddy-hosted wordpress site under a sub-domain they host; and now having two free WordPress.com sites both of which I wish to delete. Please help!

Thank you. I was successful in getting an API Key for the Akismet account for my GoDaddy-hosted WordPress site. Can you help me now delete the two WordPress.com accounts that I have? One I had started with but switched to the GoDaddy site, and the other (the one we are currently communicating through) was created accidentally when I was trying to get the API Key for the GoDaddy site. Part of the problem arose b/c I had an old Akismet account from years back that was using the same email address that I first tried to use to get the one for the new site.

Hi @chrispallen2016, we can’t delete usernames, but you’d be welcome to delete any personal data from the account. Here’s how:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
You can use a throaway email address too, and if you’ll change (or forget) your password, that will essentially lock you out. Or you can just ignore the account altogether and block any emails. Let us know if you need help.
