Accidentally Deleted Blog-How Can I get it back?
-
I had a blog with a name I really wanted and then I thought I spelt it wrong so deleted it but then realized it was spelt right. Now the blog doesn’t show up with my account, but when I try and create a new blog with the same name it says it is taken, even though it has been deleted and I can’t access it! How do I get my old blog name back?
-
You cannot. Deleting a blog is permanent. There were clear warnings on the delete blog page and also in the confirmation email that you received. It cannot be undone.

Try and think of a variation on the original name you deleted.

Yes it is true. Read the deleted blog support document. If you delete a blog, that URL is gone forever.
-
what if you didnt delete the whole blog you just switched the domain from one to the other. Can you go back and get it? Or is that the same as deleting it?
-
It depends on how you moved your content. One of the options is to delete the old address, if you chose that option your old name is gone.

Please be clear so you can get a correct answer. Post the complete and clickable URLs for both blogs starting with http://
Then we we will give you the correct answer. -
http://mbkrzywicki.wordpress.com it was http://lifeofanewlywed.wordpress.com i think i did delete it forever though :0(
-
Yes your lifeofanewlywedwordpress.com has been relegated to history and is gone forever.
However “lifeofanewlywed.com” looks like it is open so you could register it and then map it to a site here for $ 17– US / year.

Maybe 5 minutes if you do both here at the same time. The links below should get you started in the right direction.
Good luck
