Accidentally Deleted Domain
-
Hi – I made a terrible mistake yesterday being a newbie blogger. I deleted my domain taylored-adventures.com. It now says it’s parked at automattic.
Of note, I did chat with a WordPress Expert yesterday, and she rerouted my question to the company, and I called WordPress this morning and left a voice message regarding the problem. However, I have heard nothing back. I am very anxious to get my site back up and running and any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi, I’ve tagged this thread with ‘modlook’ to get the attention of a staff member here who will be able to help you get your domain back. Hang in there!

No problem, I’m sure as the domain is still parked with Automattic (WordPress parent company), you will have your domain back soon!
-
Howdy –
I’ve restored taylored-adventures.com and you’ll see it listed under My Sites again. Let me know if there’s anything else that I can help with :)

This is great news! Thank you so very much. However, I am now getting an error when I try to the site that says “An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.” Do I need to change something in the settings?
-
Huh. I am able to load the site. Are you still seeing this error?
Try using http://taylored-adventures.com/

It looks to be working now. One last question, are you able to see where the domain is pointing? I would like for it to be pointing to Bluehost, that is how it was setup (I think) before I deleted the domain. Now I can’t find where that information is located. Thank you! You have been super helpful!

I’m getting errors again when trying to log into http://taylored-adventures.com/. When logging in from two different Apple Products, I get a message that says “Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.” When logging in from an Android product, I get a message that says “Your connection is not Private. Attackers might be trying to steal your information from taylored-Adventures.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID”. I have tried several times from all of these devices. I am able to log into the website from my desktop using Explorer. Is something configured incorrectly in the settings?

Hello, I mistakenly deleted my domain edmundappiah.com. Please help me. No one seems to help me here. Please. The domain is parked and I need help as soon as possible. The site I need help with is edmundappiahblog.wordpress.com

Your domain is pointed to BlueHost right now. It sounds like you need to contact BlueHost regarding your SSL certificate. Those errors are not coming from anything to deal with WordPress.com.
You can also try posting at wordpress.org/support/

I contacted WordPress support and I have been told my domain has been deleted together with the pal and I need to buy a new plan so my domain can be released. My domain has currently been parked with Automattic.

Hi amymighalls,
I’m able to visit mamamighalls.com without seeing any warning messages. If you haven’t done so already, please try clearing your browser cache using these steps:
Then trying logging in from this URL:
https://mamamighalls.com/wp-admin
If you are still unable to login to the site directly, please contact your hosting provider (SiteGround) so they can check everything looks okay at their end.
Thanks!
