Accidentally deleted domain name!

  I accidentally deleted my newly registered domain name. Is there anyway for me to get it back???

  It is indeed.

  My end goal is to transfer it to my bluehost account where I want to set up a WordPress.org site. I was having trouble accessing the site on that server (I kept ending up at the site hosted by WordPress.com) and I figured that fixing whatever issue I was having would be easier if the domain was registered with bluehost. When I went to do that, bluehost showed me this message:

  The domain szrharrison.com was registered within the past five days with another registrar (Wild West Domains, Inc.). You will need to wait 60 days before trying to transfer. Some registrars allow deleting the domain within 5 days of signup. If the losing registrar supports this, you may be able to delete the domain and signup for the domain here immediately. Check with the losing registrar (Wild West Domains, Inc.) for details.

  However, that didn’t allow me to register the domain through bluehost and made it so that I couldn’t access the site at all. I have no problem with leaving the domain registered with WordPress.com, I just want it to point to the site I’m building on my bluehost web server.

  Thanks for those details.

  What we need to do is get in touch with our domain partner and try to have the domain restored. I will do this on your behalf and follow up once I hear back via email.

  We typically hear back within 48 hours.

  Hopefully, we can get the domain restored before it enters into redemption.

  Once the domain is restored, you will simply edit the name servers to point the domain at your new, self hosted WordPress.org site. Then, once the domain is old enough, you can transfer it following these steps.
