Accidentally deleted free domain

I wanted to transfer my personal blog, in order to make space for a new website; sadly, I accidentally deleted my free domain and I am no longer able to use it. Is there any way to transfer it back to my account? Thanks in advance.

Note that you can have as many sites as you want under your WordPress.com account, and you can see and manage all of these under your dashboard at https://wordpress.com/sites
