Accidentally Deleted Jetpack Plugin, now site is gone
-
I changed the URL of my website, only for a notification to come up saying that my Jetpack is having some issues. I accidentally delete my Jetpack and now I don’t have access to my website anymore; the website is down (there’s still cache in it that proves I did it), my wordpress purchases page shows that I have no purchases, yet I looked in my email and there was no ‘your website has been deleted’ email that it usually has (and that I tested with a dummy website after this occured). Is there any way I can gain access back to my wordpress domain? I paid money for it and didn’t delete the site, but deleting the Jetpack plugin through that notification screwed me over. I saw a page of what it said after accidentally clicking it and it said ‘use this if you’re going to take your site down or delete it’. I didn’t know it meant deleting it instead of just shutting it down and rebooting it. What should I do?

Hello there,
This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As the site is hosted with Siteground, you would need to reach out to their support: https://www.siteground.co.uk/tutorials/getting-started/getting-help-from-our-support-team/
They may be able to track down the original installation and/or run a search and replace on the site to fix the change in domain.
I hope this helps.
