Accidentally deleted my avatar from my home page

  It shows up everywhere it should, including on my other WP blog, and in my profile page. But on the home page of my favorite blog there’s nothing where the avatar was, not even the little head shape figure where it should go. I tried uploading another copy, but that doesn’t work. What can I do? Thanks!

  Where are you looking for it on that blog? There’s no place for it to show apart from in comments and I note there aren’t any in that blog at the moment.

  It’s entirely possible it’s theme dependent. Can you show us a place on your other WP blog where you CAN see it?

  On my other blog (catpersonsdogblog.wordpress.com), it’s near the bottom of the left-hand panel. On the floatingink blog it should be right next to the About widget on the right hand side at the top. In the beginning there was a placeholder there for the avatar, a box with a little roundheaded person shape–now that isn’t even there.

  Try using the Author widget. Looks like there’s only the Page widget, and that doesn’t display avatars.

  Thank you, raincoaster–adding the Author widget (I guess that’s what I deleted) did the trick.
